Acer has recently unveiled their newest computer monitor, their Acer S1 Series, and they’re touting it as an “eco-friendly” monitor.But the fact that it’s a greener monitor probably won’t impress you as much as its size. These screens are so tiny that they come with either 13″ or 15″ slimness.
The compactness of this new Acer monitor may only apply to its width, because the length of these monitors ranges from 20, 21.5, and 23 inches. And that eco-friendly factor you’re looking for? It comes in the actual screen. The screen is not like the LCD monitors that are all the rage these days. Instead, Acer used innovative LED technology for the monitor’s backlight. This technology uses 68% less power and doesn’t use any mercury or harmful gases in it either. So it will not only be the smallest monitor you’ve ever used, but the most environmentally-friendly too!
