Today we saw the release of the highly anticipated iPhone 4 device from Apple. Many people all around the world have flocked to their nearest retailers in order to try and purchase the phone as soon as possible.
We often see a lot of hype around Apple products, the iPad, which was released less than a month ago, saw millions of people trying to buy the device in the first day of its release and it has certainly been no different with the new iPhone 4 device. The release of this new iPhone 4 device from Apple has seen hundreds of people queuing to get their hands on the device and it has seen many people waiting in line through the night for the store to open so that they could purchase their new iPhone 4.
Many places in the U.S have reported that people were queuing from around 7pm the night before the release of this device outside stores to get their hands on it. Westfarms Apple Store in Farmington, Connecticut has reported that hundreds of people were queued outside their store throughout the night, many of whom had brought sleeping bags to keep warm. People are reported to have only got around 30 – 45 minutes sleep throughout the whole night as they did not want to lose their position in the queue. One woman was reported to have waited in line all night in order to get the device as a birthday present for her son.
