New Chevrolet Orlando Unveiled At The Paris Auto Show! Chevrolet have unveiled its long awaited
people mover, the Chevrolet Orlando at the Paris Auto Show. Chevrolet plays with design emotions and produces the Chevrolet Orlando from an aggressive GMC-looking concept to a delightful and elegant family car. The Chevy Orlando is a 7 seater MPV which is based on the Cruze platform.
Chevrolet will be adding a 1.8L gasoline engine that will develop an output of 151 horsepower. Also in the green segment, a 2.0L turbo diesel engine will also be available and will come with an output of 131 horsepower and 163 horsepower. The Orlando will come in both automatic and manual transmissions.
The exteriors has a little manly look, a little girly look and some ugly parts. Though its not as stunning as it was hyped to be, the Orlando does impress as a family car. The rear end of the car is however not that impressive. Also the interiors are stunning with the ambient lights and the dual cockpit and the quality of materials used. Again, let me note it down – designed for family needs.
I can imagine this car in the European roads and i can imagine it fitting well. The Orlando will be loaded with a lot of features and the comfort level is also said to be impressive. The Chevrolet Orlando goes on sale early 2011 and will sell to those who will be looking for a family car.
