Paris Auto Show: Lotus Espirit Unveiled To The World

Paris Auto Show: Lotus Espirit Unveiled To The World. Lotus, in competition has always been about performance and handling. But this time, Lotus has used the drawing board to its advantage. Shimmering at the Lotus stalls at the Paris auto show lies a range of future lotus models, but one stays apart, the most awaited sports car, the Lotus Espirit. The Lotus Espirit is now Lotus’ flagship model.

Lying under the beautiful exterior , is a monster of an engine, a 5.0L V8 engine from Lexus, which shoots out an impressive 620 bhp and the placement of the engine is in the middle. This 620 bhp engine will take the vehicle from 0-60 mph in less than 3.4 seconds and that is like fast! This V8 engine can reach a top speed of 205 mph.

This concept is a killer in terms of looks! The sleek sexy design with more curves than cuts, the Lamborghini type headlights, the same reventon like bumpers shoot a little design theft, but hey if you can do it right, why not do it? The angry alien like tailights embraced in a black background along with the center exhaust, the curves like a Spanish lady, the scooping side windows, looking like eagles eyes, perfection! Lotus has a beauty in its hands.

Along with these impressive visual features and engine specs, Lotus will offer a lot of features like Kinetic Energy Recovery System, found in F1 cars. The energy gained is used in gaining a power boost at the push of a button. This beauty on wheels will be on sale in the spring of 2013 with a price tag of $175,000. Some of us, will wait for it in the next NFS.
